Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Supervision & Leadership

• Lead and motivate the barbering team to maintain high performance and morale.
• Assist with staff scheduling, ensuring appropriate coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
• Support with onboarding and training of new barbers and apprentices.
• Monitor performance and provide constructive feedback or escalate issues to management.
• Foster a positive and professional team culture.

2. Customer Service

• Ensure every client receives a top-tier service experience.
• Handle client complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Promote customer retention through loyalty programs, feedback systems, and consistent service standards.

3. Shop Operations

• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of the barbershop at all times.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and tools, and assist with ordering when stock is low.
• Conduct routine inspections of tools, equipment, and facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Open or close the shop as needed, securing the premises and handling daily cash procedures.

4. Sales & Promotions

• Assist with upselling products and services (e.g. hair care products, grooming packages).
• Support marketing initiatives including social media promotions, events, or seasonal campaigns.
• Track and help improve sales performance of the shop.

5. Reporting & Communication

• Report daily activity, staff attendance, and issues to management.
• Keep accurate records of appointments, transactions, and customer feedback.
• Communicate clearly between staff and upper management, ensuring alignment on goals and expectations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a senior barber or in a supervisory role within a barbershop or salon.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities.
• Familiarity with health and safety standards in the grooming industry.
• Time management, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Basic computer or POS system literacy.
