Job Overview:



The Bartender is responsible for delivering a consistent, high-quality beverage experience that reflects the Doppio Zero brand. This includes crafting delicious and visually appealing cocktails, smoothies, and other drinks, while upholding Doppio Zero's coffee excellence and reputation.




Key Responsibilities:



Beverage Excellence


Craftsmanship: Prepare beverages with precision and accordance with brand recipes, including cocktails, coffee, and smoothies, ensuring consistency and high standards. Coffee Excellence: Master Doppio Zero's coffee-making procedures to maintain the brand's coffee reputation. Quality Control: Ensure that all beverages meet brand standards for presentation, taste, and quality.
Guest Experience
Service Excellence: Provide warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service, ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued - even from behind the Bar - a s mile and a greeting goes along way! Product Knowledge: Be well-versed in the bar menu, including ingredients, preparation techniques, and beverage pairings. Problem Resolution: Address guest concerns or complaints effectively to ensure satisfaction.
Bar Operations
Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic bar area, adhering to health and safety standards. Stock Management: Monitor and manage bar inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste, dedicated to FIFO/FEFO practices. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all bar equipment is clean, functional, and well-maintained. Report any maintenance needs promptly.
Brand Representation
Uphold Standards: Represent the Doppio Zero brand through your personal appearance, behaviours, and service. Promote Values: Demonstrate the brand's commitment to quality, innovation, and guest satisfaction.
Sales and Promotions
Campaign Participation: Support and execute bar-specific campaigns, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
Teamwork and Communication
Collaboration: Work closely with the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service. Shift Handovers: Provide clear, detailed handovers to maintain continuity between shifts. Meetings and Training: Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions, contributing ideas and feedback to improve bar operations and guest experiences.
Cost and Waste Management
Efficiencies: Minimize product waste by following proper preparation and storage procedures. Cost Awareness: Be mindful of portion control and ingredient usage to support cost control measures.
Opening and Closing Duties
Setup and Prep: Prepare the bar for service by restocking, cleaning, and organizing all necessary items. Close: Complete closing tasks, including cleaning, securing stock, and ensuring all equipment is turned off or secured.


Qualifications:
Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume environment. Strong knowledge of cocktails, coffee preparation, and beverage trends. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality. * Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to contribute to a vibrant guest experience
