Baking Production Supervisor - Cape TownThis job post is for Talent Pooling for a company in the FMCG industry.The Production Supervisor supervises, organises and assists the teams in production.Responsibilities:Supervise, coordinate and assist in the activities of the bakery staff engaged in proper cleaning, weighing, mixing, cutting, baking, cooking in the preparation of all food items; and supervises and coordinates the tray setup according to menus and specifications for bakery.Ensure quality and consistency according to specifications and/or recipes.Taste and evaluate all items.Supervise bakery staff to ensure proper sanitizing of hand and equipment; following of safety rules and that the work areas are kept in a clean and safe condition.Perform ongoing training of bakery kitchen staff.Supervise all ongoing production of baked items;; ensure quantity is according to specifications;Basic working knowledge of all relevant machinery used in food production.Requirements:Previous experience of 3 - 5 years in FMCG industryCompleted Matric qualificationOwn TransportMust have previous knowledge of the baking industry.Competencies and Skills needed:Communication SkillsCreativityManagement skillsDependable and FlexibleMust be proficient in EnglishJob Type: PermanentAbility to commute/relocate:Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
