The Role

Large supermarket in George requires an experienced Bakery Manager to take control of their bakery and confectionery departments and to manage the other workers. In addition, good verbal communication and customer service skills, knowledge of how to maintain and use equipment, and good health and safety practices are all required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage bakery staff, including hiring, scheduling, and training Create and maintain confectionery ideas, including new product development and recipe testing Track inventory and place orders for supplies as needed Do al costings Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work area Create and implement marketing and sales strategies to increase revenue Answer customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner Collaborate with other departments and vendors to ensure smooth bakery operations
