Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Bakery General Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support the bakery department by assisting with preparation, baking, packing, merchandising, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist bakers with preparation and production of bakery products.
Ensure products are packed, displayed, and rotated according to company standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery area in line with food safety requirements.
Provide excellent customer service when attending to bakery customers.
Follow operational procedures and comply with health and safety guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience in a bakery/retail food environment will be an advantage.
Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player.
