Job Summary As a Software Developer at Zimi, you will be an integral part of our development team, contributing to the creation of our energy, carbon, and payments system. You'll leverage your Python expertise to build robust and efficient software solutions, working with the FARM stack (FastAPI, React, and MongoDB) on the AWS platform. Join us in making a meaningful impact on sustainability by helping fleets transition to EVs. Key Responsibilities - Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and maintain software solutions using Python. - Participate in architecture discussions and assist in implementing solutions across systems. - Contribute to the optimization of software products to ensure performance and scalability. - Collaborate with peers to ensure code quality through code reviews and best practices. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to enhance our development processes. Qualifications and Requirements - 2 - 5 years of experience working in Software development team - Proficiency in Python is a must - Familiarity with FastAPI, React, and MongoDB is a plus, as well as knowledge of other NoSQL frameworks. - Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for software development. - Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, collaborative environment. - Experience with software development best practices and version control systems (Gitflow, SemVer). - South African citizen and ability to work on-site at office in Stellenbosch Salary Range Competitive salary and share options are available, commensurate with experience and skills.
