Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Back of House Restaurant Cleaner. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, storage areas, and other back of house areas to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for our staff and customers.
Responsibilities:
Sweep, mop, and sanitize kitchen floors Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces Empty trash and recycling bins Clean and sanitize storage areas Clean and organize walk-in coolers and freezers Follow cleaning schedules and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner Adhere to health and safety regulations
Requirements:
Proven experience as a cleaner or janitor in a commercial kitchen environment Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and techniques Ability to lift and carry heavy objects Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent time management skills Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service establishment
