We're looking for a highly driven B2B IT Asset Disposal and E-waste Recycling Sales Representative to join our team and help businesses achieve their sustainability goals.

About the Role

As a B2B IT Asset Disposal and E-waste Recycling Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in our B2B sales team. You'll be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with businesses that generate electronic waste and devices for refurbishment.

Your day-to-day will involve:

Business Development

: Proactively identifying and winning new clients, from corporations and government agencies to educational institutions.

Client Relationship Management

: Cultivating strong, lasting relationships to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.

Consultative Selling

: Understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions that align with their specific challenges and sustainability objectives. Educate clients on compliance standards (POPIA, GDPR, environmental, OEM) and how AST ensures adherence.

Market Analysis

: Staying up to date on industry trends and regulations to better serve and educate your clients.

Reporting & Teamwork

: Accurately tracking your sales activities and collaborating with our operations team to ensure seamless experiences for our clients.

What We're Looking For:

Proven B2B Sales Experience

: Min of two years of successful B2B sales experience in the e-waste, refurbishment, or IT asset management industries with an existing client database is a must.

Deep Industry Knowledge

: You must have a strong understanding of the e-waste recycling and refurbishment processes, including relevant legislation (like WEEE or local equivalents) and the environmental benefits of proper disposal.

Tech Savvy

: Familiarity with CRM tools and a solid understanding of IT hardware lifecycles (desktops, laptops, servers, networking equipment).

Exceptional Communication

: Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Self-Motivated & Proactive

: A results-driven attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid Driver's License

Own Vehicle is an advantage

What We offer:

A market-related salary between R15,000 and R38000 (dependent on experience and existing client database).

Commission Structure.

Fuel Allowance.

Monthly cell phone data allowance for business-related communication.
