About the Role

We are looking for a proactive

Azure Operations Engineer

to manage, monitor, and optimize our Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. You will ensure high availability, security, and performance of cloud resources, supporting business applications and services with a strong focus on operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and services to ensure availability and performance. Implement and manage Azure governance, security policies, and compliance controls. Automate routine operational tasks using Azure Automation, PowerShell, CLI, or ARM templates. Support deployment, configuration, and management of Azure resources. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues in the Azure environment. Collaborate with development, security, and architecture teams to support cloud operations. Manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies. Maintain documentation of operational procedures, configurations, and incident reports. Optimize cloud resource usage to control costs and improve efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience (2+ years) in Azure cloud operations or system administration. Strong knowledge of Azure services: Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure AD, Azure Monitor, Azure Security. Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates). Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools and incident management. Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance. Good problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft Azure certifications such as

AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator

or

AZ-400: Azure DevOps Engineer

. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Knowledge of container services (AKS) and serverless architectures. Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
