Role Overview:



As an Avionics Supervisor, you will direct daily production and maintenance operations, serving as the technical cornerstone for our flight line. You will lead, mentor, and support a skilled team of technicians to ensure peak performance while maintaining uncompromising standards in safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance.

Key Performance Areas:



Team Leadership & Talent Development:

Cultivating a high-performance culture through active mentorship, training, and effective HR resource management.

Operational Efficiency & Productivity:

Optimizing departmental workflows and resource allocation to maximize output and team performance.

Technical Guidance & Shop Floor Oversight:

Serving as the subject matter expert to provide direction on complex avionics systems and maintenance tasks.

Quality & Safety Assurance:

Upholding rigorous safety protocols and quality standards to maintain the highest levels of airworthiness and operational integrity.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensuring all operations strictly adhere to aviation authority regulations and internal auditing standards.

On-Time Quality Delivery:

Managing timelines and precision to ensure all projects are delivered both on schedule and to the required specifications.

Tooling & Asset Management:

Overseeing the control, calibration, and maintenance of departmental tools and specialized equipment.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

Driving process enhancements and innovative solutions to refine maintenance procedures and reduce downtime.

Customer Satisfaction:

Interfacing with stakeholders to ensure service delivery exceeds client expectations and maintains company reputation.

Qualifications & Experience



Grade 12 or National Diploma (N3) Aircraft related trade Aircraft Maintenance Technician/Engineer Qualification SACAA AME license (W, X & Y Advantages) At least 10 years Aircraft experience Safety Management: Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, and experience in implementing safety protocols in the workplace

Knowledge, skills & attributes:



Knowledge on Digital Integrated Avionic System Conduct Integrated Avionic systems testing Loom Manufacturing Knowledge of loom and component instillation technics and standards Proven Leadership skills with the ability to manage high pressure environments Clear communication skills Attention to Detail Strong work ethic Team-Orientated Safety-Conscious Quality Management Problem solving and fault finding
