Understand and managing various supply chain complexities and the impact thereof to determine and manage growth strategies.
Understand the costing and pricing elements and environment within the Aviation sectors to grow margin within this business where possible.
Challenge is to achieve an effective balance between daily operational issues.
Identify financially viable solutions for customers to ensure long term sustainable and profitable business in highly contested markets.

Activites
An exciting opportunity exists within our Lubricants and Specialities department, for an Aviation Specialist. In order to fulfil the requirements for the role, the incumber would have to carry the dollowing duties:
Strategy:
Develop and Implement the Aviation roadmap
Aviation and Specialities:
To deliver the Aviation roadmap.
Optimizing the sales of Aviation according to Supply planning and availability.
To develop full LTP and Budget for Aviation.
Responsible for the full P&L for the Aviation Business Line in the Division
Ensuring the Aviation risks are appropriately managed
Respond to Tenders, ensure Pricing, Billing and Queries are resolved in time
Weekly reporting to Divcom and daily meetings with Supply
Develop and maintain good relations with the Aviation Business Line
HSEQ:
Ensure adherence and compliance to company HSEQ and security standards, (Golden rules and Near miss reporting), so as to minimise risks pertaining to company assets and protection of life.
To effectively manage and minimise HSE risk within area of responsibility by ensuring:
Compliance with all HSE Policies, rules, guideline and legal requirements
Promotion of safe working environment and positively contributing to the company HSE KPIs and risk reduction strategies
That HSE competency requirements are identified & enforced within area of responsibility
Mandatory training are timeously completed.
Governance:
Ensure effective risk management and internal control.
To comply with relevant governance associated with ACSA, IATA, JIG, SARS and SACAA.
General:
Deliver the roadmap for volumes, cost and margins.
Update job descriptions at least every 2 years.
Follow the code of conduct, mandatory training and create an environment conducive to the group values

Profil du candidat
To be successful in this role, you would need to have the following skills and requirements:
Appropriate business degree
5+ years' experience in Aviation products, sales and marketing environment
Attention to detail in all level of work. Enquiring mind, never assume obvious.
Structured approach to work and problem solving.
Keeping to set deadlines and on time delivery of output.
Wholistic understanding of all elements impacting results and decidsions.
Working under pressure
Appropriate knowledge of the products and their potential applications in the industry
Applied sales management, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
