Job Description
Job Summary Our client in the Telecommunications industry is looking for an AV Sales Representative.
Key responsibilities
- Sales Planning & Execution
o Conduct customer needs analysis and review of existing services/ providers to formulate a Customer Value Proposition
o Development of customer specific proposals in collaboration with the Company's Solution Architects
o Implement tactical sales plan across target markets through Go-To-Market of the Company's Telco Division's and Unified Comms Division's products and services
o Update sales reports and sell out data
o Responsible for a sales targets set by Management
o Maintain existing and new sales certification requirements by suppliers.
- Revenue & Margin Generation
o Responsible for the development of "new" business and strategic accounts
o Drive sales of the Company's UC & Telco Division's products and services specifically LAN deployment, VoIP and UC
o Ensure achievement of revenue and gross margin targets as set by Management.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 year's proven experience with VoIP, Networks and UC Selling.
- Must have technical knowledge and background, as well as sales experience
- Must have proven experience in AV sales within government sector and/or corporate sector
- VC knowledge/experience bonus.
- Senior Certificate (essential)
- Must be presentable - candidate will have to meet with CEO's, CIO's and CFO's of current and prospective clients
- Communication skills (read, write and speak) very important
- Must be a "hunter" - able to source new business
- Continuous skill improvement and self-development
- Adhere to company processes
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal skills (with customers, suppliers and team members)
- Perform well under pressure
