About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled

Automation Engineer

to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts. You will play a critical role in accelerating our software delivery by ensuring quality through efficient automated testing across multiple platforms and environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance. Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and identify test scenarios suitable for automation. Maintain and improve existing automation frameworks and test suites. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid feedback and continuous quality. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with teams to resolve issues. Document test plans, test cases, and automation processes. Research and implement new testing tools and technologies to improve automation efficiency. Support manual testing efforts as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience (3+ years) in automation testing and engineering. Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, TestComplete, or similar. Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI. Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. Familiarity with API testing and performance testing tools is a plus. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for test environment setup. Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) for testing environments. Certifications in software testing or automation (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Selenium Professional).
