AutoCAD Specialist Construction & Custom Manufacturing SupportWe are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Specialist to join our team on a project or ongoing support basis to assist with our growing workload. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of construction and custom manufacturing processes.Key Responsibilities:Produce detailed 2D drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.Interpret construction plans, shop drawings, and technical specifications.Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production teams to ensure drawing accuracy and feasibility.Support in creating documentation, reports, and related materials using Microsoft Office.Assist with problem-solving design challenges and propose practical solutions.Ensure drawings are completed to deadlines while maintaining a high standard of precision.Required Experience & Skills:Proficient in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D a bonus).Understanding of construction techniques and methods.Industry experience in custom manufacturing preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Strong mathematical abilities and aptitude for technical problem-solving.Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to focus on complex tasks for extended periods.Excellent communication skillsboth written and spoken.Resourceful and adaptable to overcome project challenges.Analytical thinker who enjoys solving puzzles and finding innovative solutions.Ideal Candidate Attributes:Highly organized and methodical.Quick learner who can adapt to various project needs.Works well both independently and as part of a team.Enthusiastic about continuous improvement and quality craftsmanship.
