As an auto electrician, you will specialize in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in vehicles. Your expertise ensures that all electronic components function safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnostics:
Use specialized tools and equipment to identify electrical faults in vehicles, including wiring, lighting, and battery systems.
Repairs:
Perform repairs and replacements of faulty electrical components such as starters, alternators, and wiring harnesses.
Installation:
Install new electrical systems and accessories, including alarms, audio systems, and navigation devices.
Maintenance:
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and parts used.
Skills and Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of automotive electrical systems and components.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and multimeters.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Have knowledge on working on older model vehicles
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in automotive electronics preferred.
Previous experience in an auto electrician role
