What Youll Be Doing:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in armored vehicles
- Diagnosing faults and performing system upgrades on:
- Lighting systems (internal/external)
- Wiring harnesses
- Communication equipment (radios, GPS, CCTV)
- Battery management systems
- Security and fire suppression systems
- Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and technical schematics
- Working closely with mechanics and engineers to ensure optimal system integration
- Ensuring all work complies with defense and safety standards
- Qualified Auto Electrician (Trade Certificate or Red Seal)
- 35 years of experience working on heavy-duty or armored vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team under tight deadlines
- Valid drivers license (Code 8 or higher)
- Experience with military, police, or security vehicles
- Familiarity with armored vehicle systems and electronic countermeasure installations
- CAN bus systems and telemetry expertise
- Hands-on experience with 12V, 24V, and hybrid systems
