As an Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the electrical systems and components of heavy machinery used in the mining industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of electrical equipment and systems in mining machinery.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of electrical systems.
• Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve electrical issues.
• Install, test, and certify new electrical equipment and systems.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of electrical repairs and maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Auto Electrician in the mining industry.
• Underground Mining experience
• Manganese experience
• Proficient in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical faults in heavy mining machinery.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems used in the mining industry, including hydraulic and pneumatic controls.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
