, with a unified approach ensuring a consistent standard of excellence in teaching, learning, and student support.

Emeris Durban North has a vacancy for a part-time lecturer for the following module:

Auditing 2

Key Performance Areas :

Preparation, conducting of lectures, tutorials and workshops; Providing study guidance, learning support, consultation and mentoring of students; Initiation and development of module materials, including online and web-based materials; Marking and grading of student assessments; A range of administrative functions connected to the discipline and modules being taught;

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Ideal:

Chartered Accountant OR Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA) OR Honours /post-graduate qualification in External Auditing.

Alternatively

NQF level 9 qualification in External Auditing.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

Lecturing experience in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Auditing or Taxation is preferable. Completed training contract at a registered firm of Chartered Accountants.

Working Conditions:

Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role Positions are

part-time

, with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00.

Must reside in Durban (All classes take place on Campus)

Applicants must be available to lecture for 2 -3 days (business hours) within a week for the duration of the semester.
