Monahans. one of Sumer's hubs, works closely with small and medium-sized enterprises across the UK and Ireland. We help clients navigate complex financial needs - from compliance and reporting to strategic business advice - so they can focus on running and growing their businesses.

Key Responsibilities

What You Will Be Doing:

Actively engage with clients to gain a thorough understanding of their business. Be the main point of contact for clients during audit engagements, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships. Lead audit engagements for a portfolio of clients, including planning, execution, and completion.
Identify risk areas and finalise all aspects of audit assignments under the supervision of a manager or partner.
Support and guide junior team members, review their work, and ensure audit objectives are achieved. Ensure full compliance with external audit requirements.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Qualified Accountant: ACA/ACCA or equivalent UK Audit Practice Experience: experience in an audit and accounts practice, including an understanding of regulatory obligations and quality standards. Risk Assessment: experience in identifying and assessing risks and implementing effective controls. Client Management: Strong client relationship management skills, able to build and maintain long-term relationships.
