A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their 3 children

Area:

Upper Wynberg

Children's ages:

10, 7 and 4 years old

Duties:

Responsibilities include collecting the children from school and taking them to their extra-mural activities, assisting and supervising homework, and engaging them in intellectually stimulating and developmentally appropriate play and activities. Duties also involve running general family errands such as grocery shopping and purchasing gifts for children's parties, bathing the children, preparing their meals and school lunches, and occasionally babysitting or working on weekends by prior arrangement. The role further includes transporting the children to doctors' appointments or other engagements, accompanying them on outings, play dates, or parties, responsibly using petty cash, petrol cards, or the family credit card for approved purchases, and maintaining proactive communication with the parents at all times.

Requirements:

experience in dealing with multiple kids of different ages, organised, long term commitment needed, gentle natured and kind, with a caring disposition for sensitive, but fun-loving, active kids

Start date:

January / February 2026 - permanent contract

Salary:

R11 000pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76)



All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

Must have a clear criminal record

Must have a passion for children

Must have Matric

Must have a South African ID document.
