Working hours: Monday xe2x80x93 Friday: 07h30 - 08h00 and 12h30 - 17h00
School holidays: Monday - Friday: 07h30 - 17h00 A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their Son aged 7 years old and daughter aged 3 years old (in Feb)
Area: Sydenham (near Orange Grove and Linksfield)
Working hours: Monday xe2x80x93 Friday: 07h30 - 08h30 and 12h30 - 17h00, Thursday: 07h30 - 08h30 and start again anytime between 10h00 / 11h00 - 17h00
School holidays: Monday - Friday: 07h30 - 17h00
Start date: January 2024 start xe2x80x93 permanent contract
Duties: Getting the children ready for school and making sure they have everything needed, dropping at school in the mornings, collecting from school in the afternoons (attend an eclectic home schooling center), accompany to extra murals and outings, arts and crafts, educational and fun play. Occasionally assist with weekend work when needed with prior arrangements. The family work in a very soft direct approach to education and engagement and not instruction based. On some days such as Thursdays, the kids usually go on an outing somewhere. On a Thursday the au pair would need to drop at school and then fetch from school to take to the outing and stay at the outing OR the kids stay home until the outing and then she would take them. The outings start at 10am,10.30am or 11am depending on what is happening and where. AND once a month or once every 5 or 6 weeks the kids do a thing called Discover A Country which is on a Wednesday and she would also need to be available to take them to that and be there with them during Discover a Country (DAC). DAC starts at 11am on that Wednesday every month or 5 or 6 weeks. The outings are sometimes with a group called Nature Study which is at parks or places where the kids experience nature and do nature journalling and so on (once it was a bee farm) or to an urban farm or similar adventures
Salary: R10 000 - R11 000 per month plus petrol

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
****Must have a clear criminal record
****Must have a passion for children
****Must have Matric
****Must have a South African ID document.
