A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their daughter aged 8 years old and sons aged 6 years and 4 years old

Duties:

a family that is relocating from the USA to Sunninghill needs a reliable, safe and adaptable Au Pair that is either studying towards or is qualified in Foundation Phase Teaching. The candidate will be required to work full day in November and December to help the children adjust to South Africa and engage in educational and academic engagement, developing numeracy and literacy skills, engaging in age appropriate stimulation. From the New Year, candidate will need to collect the children from school, transport to and from extra murals, assist and supervise homework, ensure bags are packed for the following day, ensure the children eat meals, have lunches packed for the following day, assist with anything childcare related and assist with general care and supervision

Requirements:

Studying towards or qualified in Foundation Phase teaching, Christian foundation, reliable driver

Start date:

November 2025 start - permanent contract

Salary:

R12 000 - R15 000 per month (gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76) + overtime for any hours worked over and above 25 hours per week.

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

Must have a clear criminal record

Must have a passion for children

Must have Matric

Must have a South African ID document.
