Job Description

Working hours:

Monday - Friday 06:30 - 07:30 & 13:00 - 15:00 (Therapy is every 2nd Thursday, from 06:30 - 07:30, Au Pair will need to accompany her and drop her at school after, morning hours every 2nd Thursday will be 06:00 - 08:00 + afternoon run)

School holiday hours:

Same as above / Slightly Flexible


A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their daughter

Area:

Zambezi, Roodeplaat

Children's Ages:

8 year old daughter (hearing impared however she has had a cochlear implant) She does attend speech therapy (biweekly) Her hearing is fine with her implant on but she struggles with her speech a bit. Great support from her therapist and school around this.

Working hours:

Duties:

Drop off at school, collect from school, take to extra murals and therapies, assist with homework, prepare snacks and meals and ensure bags are packed for the next day.

Special Requirements:

Female candidate, it would be advantageous if they understood sign language or would be willing to attend classes and learn with her.

Start Date and contract term:

ASAP - permanent

Salary:

R12 0000pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76)



All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

Must have a clear criminal record

Must have a passion for children

Must have Matric

Must have a South African ID document.
