A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their 3 year old

Duties:

Collecting from school. Preparing lunch. Education or constructive play. Taking him to activities such as Tswana group on a Tuesday and other excursions. Bathing and brushing teeth

He has diabetes type 1 and wears an insulin pump around his waist and sensor with Bluetooth to a phone. He needs his phone to be within 10m of him most times, he also needs his infusion sites changed every 3 days, which the family do, but they will need the candidate to be comfortable with doing it in case it needs to be done and the family is away for more than an hour - training will be provided and a number given of people including his teachers.

Requirements:

willing to learn, smart and capable, drivers license and prior childcare related experience

Start date:

December 2025 start - permanent contract

Salary:

R7500 - R8500 per month (gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

Must have a clear criminal record

Must have a passion for children

Must have Matric

Must have a South African ID document.
