A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their 2 children

Area:

Llandudno

Children's Ages:

9 and 6 years old

Working hours:

Duties:

The idea is for her to arrive at the house at

2:00 pm

to set up the house and prepare the children's dinner, do any grocery shopping or run any errands for the home. Cleaning up the children's rooms and areas of the home, putting a load of their washing on and hanging it up, etc. Then she should leave at

4:00 pm

to arrive at the school by

4:30 pm

at the latest to pick up the children and bring them home. Once home, she continues with unpacking the schoolbags, cleaning the lunch boxes, making sure the children take a shower, get into their pyjamas, start their homework if possible and facilitate play and fun activities. She should give them dinner at around

6:00/6:15 pm

and then leave by

7:00 pm

at the latest.

To make things more efficient, she could arrive at the house earlier, around 2:00 pm, to help with some light household tasks:

Special Requirements:

At least 1 year of experience working with a family. A joyful personality, proactive, and able to take initiative. Good English level is required; French is a plus but not essential. Minimum age 21. Must have their own car (subject to confirmation that this is acceptable with the insurance). Female candidate. She must be able to cook simple meals such as chicken, vegetables, pasta or potatoes. The same goes for pasta dishes or an omelette. Sometimes it will just be a matter of reheating a soup. Each day I will let her know what to prepare.

Start Date and contract term:

ASAP until June 2026

Salary:

R9000 - R9500pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76)



All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

Must have a clear criminal record

Must have a passion for children

Must have Matric

Must have a South African ID document.
