Working hours:

Monday and Wednesday 15:00 to 19:00, Tuesday and Thursday 14:00 to 18:00, ad hoc Saturdays with prior notice 07:00 - 10:00

School holiday hours:

Same as above / Slightly flexible


A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their son

Area:

Linbro Park (Moving to Fourways in 2026)

Children's Ages:

1.5 years old - Girl & 5 year old - Boy (Primary focus on 5 year old, no duties around 1.5 year old at this stage)

Working hours:

Monday and Wednesday 15:00 to 19:00, Tuesday and Thursday 14:00 to 18:00, ad hoc Saturdays with prior notice 07:00 - 10:00

School holiday hours:

Same as above / Slightly flexible

Duties:

Collect from school, take him to extra murals (Fighting Gym is in Sunninghill, and Football is in Modderfontein), assist with homework, prepare snacks and meals and ensure bags are packed for the next day. Someone who can travel with the family if their nanny is not available, this will be with prior notice and all expenses will be paid.

Special Requirements:

Dad travels a lot for work and mom works long hours; they are looking for a candidate that is going to become part of the family long term. Someone fluent in English and speaks the language well, someone young and vibrant, mid 20s, well presented, own a car, if they have a camera and an interest in photography (or willing to learn), this would be advantageous.

Start Date and contract term:

1 August - permanent

Salary:

R12 000 - R16 000 per month - Negotiable for the right candidate (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76)



All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

Must have a clear criminal record

Must have a passion for children

Must have Matric

Must have a South African ID document.
