Working hours:

Monday - Friday: 06h00 - 07h30 and 12h15 - 18h00

School holiday hours:

Monday - Friday: 08h00 - 18h00 but this will be dependent on whether the family are travelling or not, flexibility is needed

A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their daughter aged 7 years old and son aged 2 years old (epilepsy and medicated)

Duties:

Get the children ready for school, drop at school in the mornings, collect from school in the afternoons, transport to extra murals, homework assistance, errands, general care and supervision, engage in educational stimulation and development, bath time routine, make meals for the children, occasional babysitting, transport to play therapy and appointments, manage and set up the childrens schedules, travel with the family when they go away (Durban, Krugerpark etc)

Requirements:

Age 25 and over, previous experience with kids. Flexible and ready to go on holidays all over South Africa over school breaks, consistent with discipline, First aid preferred

Start date:

ASAP start - permanent contract

Salary:

R15 000 per month (gross, before deductions), manual Ford Figo provided for childcare duties

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

Must have a clear criminal record

Must have a passion for children

Must have Matric

Must have a South African ID document.
