Job Description

Job Purpose
To manage the collection of outstanding debtor accounts across across multiple business units within AssureCloud, including food safety, laboratory services, and compliance divisions, ensuring targets are met and accounts are reconciled accurately and timeously.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-function credit control including banking and allocations.
- Reconciliation of large accounts.
- Weekly and monthly progress reporting to management.
- Problem-solving and resolution of account queries.
- Execution of ad hoc credit control tasks.
- Performing under pressure and meeting collection targets.
- Utilising advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
- Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Advantageous).
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in credit controlling and financial processing.
- Proven track record in managing large book value collections.
- Experience working with Finance & Operations (F&O) systems or modules, with a solid understanding of financial workflows and system navigation (Advantageous).
- Strong Excel proficiency.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external clients professionally.
- Ability to manage difficult conversations with tact and diplomacy.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Target-driven and resilient under pressure.
- Preference will be given to employment equity candidates.
