Minimum Requirements:
10 plus years of experience in a consulting environment
Project management experience
Experience in leading and managing a team
BSc. Engineering/Environmental Science or similar
Experience with GIS software and analysis of spatial data would be an advantage.
Proficient in Word, Excel.
Valid driver's license.
Must be willing to travel.
Professional registration would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
Manage closure related projects- providing support to Business Lead
Consult and collaborate with all the relevant stakeholders to provide solutions for clients
Calculate mine closure costs that meet all requirements
Liaison with clients and financial auditors to address mine closure liability queries
Develop and implement mine closure project plans, in consultation with clients, to guide decommissioning and rehabilitation activities
Conduct audits and reviews of mine closure plans and liability assessments
Plan and execute site visits
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external clients
