Purpose of the Role
The Associate Director of Sales (ADoS) supports the Director of Sales by implementing strategic sales initiatives, managing daily operations, and leading the sales team. This role serves as the link between strategic planning and operational execution, ensuring alignment, team performance, and contribution to overall revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and execute the Director of Sales' strategic initiatives across all sales functions.
Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and departmental targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
Develop actionable sales plans and ensure consistent follow-through.
Monitor performance metrics, analyze results, and report progress to the Director of Sales.
Collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance teams to maximize revenue potential.
Ensure seamless communication and alignment between departments.
Address operational challenges promptly while maintaining team engagement and morale.
Support the Director of Sales in forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
Uphold brand standards and ensure consistent representation across all sales channels.

Reports To:
Director of Sales (DOS)
Manages:
Sales Manager, Reservations Manager, Social Media Manager, Reservations Intern
Role Focus:
Acts as the bridge between the DOS's strategic vision and the team's operational execution.
Collaboration:
Works closely with all departments to ensure cohesive revenue strategies and operational alignment.
Leadership Scope:
Maintains alignment with the DOS while leading the team on a daily operational level to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Bachelor's Degree
or
National Diploma in
Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or Hospitality Management
(required).
Experience:
Minimum of
5-7 years' experience
in hotel or hospitality sales, including
2+ years in a leadership or supervisory capacity
.
Demonstrated success in achieving revenue growth and managing high-performing teams.
Strong understanding of
hospitality market trends, corporate and leisure segments, and key account management
.
