The successful candidate will provide close administrative and operational support to the buyer, ensuring the smooth coordination of orders, samples, and communications between suppliers and customers.Responsibilities:Assist the buyer throughout the buying and selling processManage the critical path from order placement to deliveryAttend meetings and compile accurate minutesCommunicate and correspond with suppliers regarding samples, costings, and submissionsHandle daily follow-ups and correspondence with customersEnsure timely receipt and accuracy of contracts and documentationArrange deliveries and collections with couriers, and track shipmentsPhotograph and catalogue all samples for reference and customer submissionsManage sample returns and outgoing sample recordsAssist in setting up and tidying the showroom and officeMaintain and update systems with order progression detailsCoordinate product testing and communicate resultsOrganize and file orders and related documentsOrder trims and monitor timely deliveryAssist with measuring and quality control of samples/products before customer submissionFollow up on outstanding samples from customers and suppliersTrack shipment schedules and coordinate with the shipping departmentPerform general office duties including filing, restocking supplies, and taking callsRequirements:Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle pressureStrong administrative and organizational skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and take initiativeOwn transport is required Benefits:
