The Assistant Field Technician for the Building Management System Installation Team is responsible for assisting in the installation of building management systems, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications. This role requires knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC operations, and installation techniques.
How you will do it
Follow building site plans to accurately follow installation guidelines.
Interpret electrical panel wiring diagrams to ensure proper connectivity during installations.
Assist in the installation of PVC conduit, bosal piping, and cable ladder carrier systems.
Utilize hand tools and power tools competently to complete installation tasks.
Handle and install PLC instrumentation effectively.
Work safely at heights and in confined spaces as required by the installation environment.
Maintain a good understanding of HVAC system operations to support installation efforts.
Ensure all tasks adhere to safety standards and regulations.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project status and issues.
What we look for
Required
Experience in installation works related to building management systems.
Ability to read and understand technical documents including site plans and wiring diagrams.
Demonstrated competence in using relevant hand tools and power tools.
Knowledge of HVAC operations.
Must be physically capable of working at heights and in confined spaces.
A valid driver's license.
Preferred
Experience in a similar role within the building management systems sector.
