Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Store Manager to lead our team at Elex Academic Bookstore. As a Store Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing staff, and driving sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:



- Manage and supervise sales staff, providing guidance and training to ensure excellent customer service

- Maintain accurate inventory levels, restock shelves, and optimize store layout

- Process transactions, handle customer complaints, and resolve issues

- Analyze sales data and implement strategies to increase revenue and growth

- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and publishers

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new releases

- Manage store appearance, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment

- Implement company policies and procedures

- Recruit and train new staff members

- Monitor and control expenses, ensuring budget adherence

- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment

Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: R9000,00 per month
