Assistant Manager - Duties and Responsibilities
Assisting management with managerial and administrative functions of the store
Assisting with the Training, Motivation and Supervision of the sales team and admin staff
Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
Ensuring the shop merchandising and retail standards are maintained at a high level
Generate sales in the store and achieve set sales targets
Assist customers in the store and maintain exceptional customer service levels
Build, maintain and consistently grow a portfolio of ongoing clients
Promoting the company's own range of products
Keeping up to date with industry lighting standards, technology, and designs
Assist in other areas of the retail store such as merchandising and stock control
Requirements:
Matric certificate.
Drivers License.
Relevant industry experience at supervisory level.
Must be a people's person with strong selling skills Strong communication and writing skills.
