We are seeking a polished, experienced
Assistant Restaurant Manager
to support operational leadership, elevate service standards, and ensure seamless daily execution under the General Manager.
Position Summary
The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports both FOH and BOH teams and plays a key role in delivering luxury brand standards, premium guest experiences, and operational discipline. The successful candidate will lead service, coach staff, and uphold Laduree's world-class reputation.
Key Responsibilities
Core Operational Responsibilities:
Support the General Manager in the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, bakery, and champagne bar.
Lead floor operations during service, ensuring smooth flow and premium guest interactions.
Supervise, motivate, and guide FOH staff to deliver exceptional hospitality.
Serve as Manager-on-Duty in the General Manager's absence.
Monitor guest experience and resolve service concerns professionally and discreetly.
Assist with labor scheduling, shift planning, and team deployment.
Support inventory management, stock control, and supplier coordination.
Coordinate with kitchen, pastry, and bar teams for seamless service execution.
Assist with marketing activations, events, and in-store experiences.
Participate in staff recruitment, onboarding, and performance assessments.
Additional Responsibilities You Requested:
Assist the General Manager in day-to-day operations.
Lead, motivate, and manage a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Ensure operational excellence across sales, service, and inventory management.
Maintain brand standards in presentation, hygiene, and customer engagement.
Assist in scheduling, staff training, and performance management.
Required Qualifications & Experience
5-7 years of experience in luxury or premium dining hospitality.
Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or assistant management role.
Proven ability to lead high-performing teams in a premium, fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of bakery, all-day dining, and beverage/champagne bar operations.
Proficiency in POS systems, reservations platforms, and reporting tools.
Excellent communication skills in English; French or Arabic is advantageous.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and alcohol service standards.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
