Urang Property Management is a London-based agency overseeing more than 10,000 residential units. Our South African support team operates through Block Management Solutions, with a co-working space in Stellenbosch for occasional team meetings.



About the Role






We are looking for an Assistant Property Manager - Communications & Client Engagement to join our dynamic team. This role plays a vital part in maintaining clear communication across all levels and ensures smooth day-to-day operations for our biggest and most prestigious building.




This is a flexible and varied role, supporting the Senior Managers with tasks and challenges that arise unexpectedly in property management. You'll be part of a dedicated team, looking after the needs of our key clients, and handling a variety of responsibilities to ensure a smooth running of the property.



Key Responsibilities




Manage communication channels (calls, emails, CRM) and ensure prompt responses. Provide regular updates to tenants, leaseholders, and directors on relevant matters. Oversee onsite communication (posters, screens) to ensure clarity and accessibility. Handle day-to-day client concerns, ensuring timely and professional resolutions. Schedule meetings on behalf of the Senior Property Manager and provide necessary support. Assist with financial queries, service charge matters, and invoice processing. Maintain accurate records, key documents, and up-to-date contact details. Attend resident and client meetings, supporting property management functions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with industry standards. Assist with insurance claims, contract terminations, and administrative processes.

What We're Looking For




Relevant experience in property management, client relations, or a similar role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM/property management software. Ability to manage multiple communication channels efficiently.

Salary & Benefits




Salary: R25 000pm negotiable depending on experience. Contract: Permanent, remote role. Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 to 18:00 SAST.

Additional Requirements




Location: Must be based in the Western Cape for occasional office visits in Stellenbosch. Internet Access: A stable and reliable connection, including during load-shedding. Assessment Process: A skills-based trial assessment will be required.
