Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and manage day-to-day production activities to meet daily targets efficiently.
Ensures strict adherence to Food Safety and Quality Standards, taking prompt remedial action when necessary (cGMP, BRC, HACCP, ISO 22000, TGA, etc.).
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing processes through resource and facility planning and utilization.
Ensure full compliance with Safety, Health, and hygiene legislative requirements, along with company policies and procedures.
Monitor costs to maintain budgetary control and maximize resource investment and utilization.
Advanced Diploma / Degree in Production Management / Operations management is essential.
Additional qualification in Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical) advantageous.
Previous middle management experience in production within an FMCG environment or technical expertise in production machinery and processes is crucial.
Proven track record in Project Management and implementing Continuous Improvement processes.
Deep understanding of production processes, quality standards, and relevant legislation (OSH Act, BCEA, EE, SD).
