Assistant Marketing Manager required to manage all areas involving events/athletes, ambassadors & community activations for a client offering apparel & more for the outdoors.

• Coordinate between key event stakeholdersxe2x80x8b
• Fulfillment of event merchandise from creation to deliveryxe2x80x8bxe2x80x8b
• Activate on the ground before, during and after eventsxe2x80x8bxe2x80x8bxe2x80x8b
• Coordinate media around the event

Brand Activationsxe2x80x8b:

• Marketingxe2x80x8b
• Logistics xe2x80x8b
• On the day management of eventsxe2x80x8b
• MC/lead when appropriatexe2x80x8b
• Assist in social media creation and delivery around activationsxe2x80x8b

Athlete/Ambassador Management:

• Lead in identifying and signing the best current and next generation athletes in running.
• Build the relationship between brand and ambassadors and athletesxe2x80x8bxe2x80x8b.
• Seed product and process requests xe2x80x8b
• Order/forecast ambassador stockxe2x80x8b
• To service athletes, partners and federations including negotiating and maintenance of contracts.
• Ideation and development of opportunities for ambassadors and brand xe2x80x8b
• Track contractual appearances and encourage optimal social media presence of brand amongst brand partners.
• Maximise ROI on teamxe2x80x8b
• Evaluate purpose-related synergies between contracted partners and Brand
• Facilitate promotional appearances of athletes.
• Work closely with the Digital and social managers to develop and leverage athlete opportunities across their own social media platforms and key brand channels.
• Quarterly Athlete/Ambassador Reports

Additional details:

• Required to travel nationally
• Company vehicle for events and activations
• Weekend work for events and activations
• Provide input into local marketing strategy based on global guidelines and regional insights.
• Recommend and participate in the planning for future projects and partnerships.
