Job Description


TEMPORARY POSITION: 6 MONTHS CONTRACT

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Manage HR plant activities
  • Advise and guide line management with regards to all HR related matters
  • Talent Sourcing & Placement
  • Industrial Relations :attending to internal IR matters at plant level
  • Ensuring compliance with employment Equity targets and plans
  • Relationship building & communication with management , union & employees
  • Support HR & Production related projects
  • Manpower Management and administration
  • Providing HR solutions to business on daily production related issues
  • HR Administration
  • Cross-functional engagement with various stakeholders
  • Manpower Planning
  • HR Projects and reports
  • Employee Relations
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Relevant NQF 5 (240 Credits) Degree/Diploma in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology or Social Sciences or related
  • Minimum 2 years relevant HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Good understanding of Labour Legislation (Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Employment Equity Act and Skills Development Act) will be advantageous.
  • Relevant Experience in general HR management including Recruitment & Selection, Industrial Relations, Employment Equity, Succession, Retention and Career planning, Performance management and Manpower planning.
  • Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite) is essential.
  • SAP experience is preferable.
