Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join a luxury hotel in Cape Town. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone passionate about maintaining exceptional cleanliness, luxury standards, and smooth day-to-day operations.

? What you'll be doing:

Maintain guest rooms and public areas to the highest luxury standards
/p
p
Supervise daily housekeeping operations, staff schedules, and workflow
/p
p
Recruit, train, and mentor housekeeping staff to achieve high performance
/p
p
Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements
/p
p
Ensure compliance with SOPs, health, safety, and hygiene standards
/p
p
Manage inventory, supplies, and budget efficiently
/p
p
Promote sustainable housekeeping practices
/p
p
Report maintenance issues and uphold property standards at all times
/p
p
? What you'll need:
/p
p
Minimum 2 years' experience as Assistant Housekeeping Manager or similar in luxury hospitality
/p
p
Strong leadership and team management skills
/p
p
Exceptional attention to detail and proactive approach
/p
p
Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
/p
p
Knowledge of SOPs, luxury standards, and health & safety regulations
/p
p
Proficient in Opera PMS and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
/p
p
Excellent verbal English communication and professional presentation
