Salary: R45,000 per month
Description

• Support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations across all departments
• Manage facility operations, including maintenance, equipment upkeep, and service readiness
• Oversee health, safety, and hygiene management, ensuring full compliance with industry and legal standards
• Monitor stock control, purchasing, and cost management using MarketMan
• Manage POS operations, reporting, and data integrity using Lightspeed
• Lead, train, and motivate management and operational teams
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives
• Handle escalated guest concerns and ensure effective service recovery
• Implement and maintain SOPs, operational systems, and service standards
• Support performance management, rostering, and staff development

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience in an Assistant General Manager, Operations Manager, or senior management role within hospitality
• Strong working knowledge of Facility Management
• Hands-on experience with Lightspeed POS
• Proven experience using MarketMan for stock control and procurement
• Solid understanding of Hygiene Management, food safety, and compliance standards
• Strong leadership, organisational, and people-management skills
• Financial acumen with experience in cost control, budgeting, and reporting
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment
• Excellent communication skills and a hands-on, solution-driven approach
