Job Summary Assistant General Manager - Luxury Beach Hotel | Ballito, KZN Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional and driven Assistant General Manager to join a prestigious luxury beach hotel located in the beautiful coastal town of Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional to support the General Manager in ensuring seamless daily operations and delivering world-class guest experiences in a vibrant beachfront environment. Requirements: Minimum 3-5 years' management experience within a 4- or 5-star hotel or lodge environment Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills Proven ability to manage teams and maintain high service standards Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control Guest-centric approach with a passion for hospitality excellence Knowledge of Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and general operations South African citizenship or valid work permit essential Responsibilities: Assist the General Manager with daily hotel operations across all departments Lead and motivate staff to deliver exceptional guest service and maintain brand standards Ensure operational efficiency and compliance with company procedures Support in managing budgets, cost control, and revenue targets Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally Contribute to staff training, development, and performance management Maintain a visible presence on the floor to ensure smooth guest interactions and service delivery Assist with administrative duties, reporting, and operational planning Package: Salary: R25,000 - R30,000 (Depending on experience) Live-out position Supportive and dynamic working environment To apply: Please send your updated CV, reference letters, qualifications, and a recent head & shoulders photo to Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, only candidates who meet the listed requirements will be contacted.
