Job Summary Assistant Food & Beverage Manager | Luxury Private Island | Caribbean ? Live-In | Salary: USD 3,640 per month | Contract: Minimum 12 months Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and energetic Assistant Food & Beverage Manager for a prestigious luxury private island in the Caribbean. This hands-on role is perfect for a hospitality professional passionate about guest experience, team development, and delivering exceptional service in a unique resort environment ? Qualifications & Experience: o Minimum 3 years' experience in a high-end resort environment in a supervisory or management role o At least 1 year of proven people management or leadership experience o Previous experience in a quality 5-star resort or luxury property o Strong knowledge of beverage services, including wines, cocktails, and mocktails o WSET Level 2 or equivalent qualification o High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel o Proven experience in inventory control and stock management o Training or staff development experience advantageous o Hands-on, operational management approach o Valid driving licence required Behavioural Competencies & Skills: o Strong planning and organisational abilities o Excellent social, interpersonal, and guest relations skills o Clear and professional written and verbal communication o Confident leadership with the ability to motivate and guide a team o Calm, adaptable, and effective under pressure o High attention to detail and strong work ethic o Resourceful problem-solver able to manage logistical challenges o Flexible and proactive approach to responsibilities o Highly self-motivated with the ability to meet operational and financial targets o Ability to work independently and collaboratively o Passion for creating exceptional guest experiences o Strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and pride in service delivery o Safety-conscious and composed in emergency situations Key Responsibilities: o Assist the Food & Beverage Manager in leading and managing the department o Train, mentor, and develop the Food & Beverage team o Drive guest interaction and build strong guest relationships o Deliver personalised and memorable guest experiences o Stay current with industry trends to enhance service and offerings o Implement and maintain effective stock, inventory, and cost controls o Build and maintain strong working relationships with other departments Package & Benefits: o Competitive salary (USD 3,640 per month) o Performance-based bonus of up to 10% of annual salary o 22 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays (5.5-day work week) o Participation in the island gratuities pool o Live-in accommodation and food allowance provided o Initial flights from country of residence and return flight at end of contract o Annual flight allowance o Medical cover provided o Minimum 12-month contract, subject to work permit approval This role offers a rare opportunity to live and work in an extraordinary destination while advancing your career in world-class luxury hospitality.
