Qualifications:
Diploma in Hospitality/Food and Beverage Management
Minimum / Previous experience:
4 years' experience working within a Hospitality or similar environment
3 years of Management experience
Personal Attributes & Skills:
Independent thinker with strong leadership and mentoring abilities, strong communication skills (written and verbal), driven, self-starter with strong customer service skills, good interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships; responsible and trustworthy, computer literate, Jonas experience, budgeting & forecasting skills, able to work shifts and flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities:
? Support the Food and Beverage Manager in achieving operational objectives.
? Oversee all aspects of Restaurant and Banqueting operation.
? Ensure prompt and efficient service to all restaurant and function clients.
? Ensure the efficient running of the Banqueting department, restaurants and bars.
? Manage member and customer relationships.
? To attend and resolve customer complaints timeously.
? Ensure that staffing levels are correct and to agreed standards.
? Manage team performance, lead a dynamic and motivated team.
? Ensure training and development of food and beverage staff.
? Ensure that company and statutory hygiene standards are maintained in all areas.
? Manage the department's administrative requirements.
? To ensure that reports are timeously submitted.
? To ensure that daily/weekly and monthly stock takes are conducted, and variances investigated.
? To hold regular staff meetings.
? To research and be fully aware of industry trends.
