Job Vacancy: Assistant Food & Beverage Manager 3-Star Hotel
We are seeking a dedicated, hands-on Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our team at a well-established 3-star hotel. The successful candidate will support the Food & Beverage Manager in ensuring smooth daily operations, excellent service delivery, and high standards across all F&B outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Food & Beverage Manager with the daily operation of restaurants, bars, functions, and room service.
- Supervise and support F&B staff to ensure consistent service excellence and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain effective stock control, manage orders, and monitor usage to minimize waste.
- Ensure all hygiene, food safety, and quality standards are strictly adhered to.
- Handle guest feedback professionally and assist in resolving service-related issues.
- Assist with staff rostering, training, and ongoing development.
- Support the planning and execution of events, functions, and promotional activities.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Food & Beverage supervisory or management role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Knowledge of POS systems, stock control, and basic administrative duties.
- Professional appearance with a strong customer-focused approach.
- Competitive salary of R10,000.00 per month
