A well-established organisation within the manufacturing / retail sector, based in Edenvale, is seeking an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join their finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a strong finance professional to take ownership of key financial processes while managing a sizable team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full general ledger processing through to trial balance
- Month-end close and audit preparation
- Debtors and creditors management and processing
- Oversight and review of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Management of a finance team, with direct responsibility for 8-10 staff members
- BCom Degree
- Professional qualification (SAICA / SAIPA / CIMA) - preferred
- 3-5 years' relevant finance experience
- Exposure to manufacturing and/or retail environments
- Proven people management experience
