Job & Company Description:
A well-established organisation within the manufacturing / retail sector, based in Edenvale, is seeking an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join their finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a strong finance professional to take ownership of key financial processes while managing a sizable team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Full general ledger processing through to trial balance
  • Month-end close and audit preparation
  • Debtors and creditors management and processing
  • Oversight and review of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Management of a finance team, with direct responsibility for 8-10 staff members
Qualifications & Experience Required:
  • BCom Degree
  • Professional qualification (SAICA / SAIPA / CIMA) - preferred
  • 3-5 years' relevant finance experience
  • Exposure to manufacturing and/or retail environments
  • Proven people management experience
