We are urgently seeking a competent and experienced
Assistant Finance Manager
to temporarily fill in for a maternity leave cover. This is a
6-month fixed-term position
with an
immediate start
from
21 July 2025
. The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background, be proficient in
SageOne Accounting
and
SageOne HR
, and have experience preparing financial statements using
Draftworx or Caseware
.
This role requires someone who is
self-motivated
, works well independently, and can quickly integrate into an existing team to support daily finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
Process payroll and assist with HR-related tasks via SageOne HR
Support cross-functional financial initiatives and reporting
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies
Recommend and implement finance process improvements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a finance/accounting role
Proficiency in
SageOne Accounting
and
SageOne HR
Experience using
Draftworx
or
Caseware
is highly advantageous
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
