Job Description
We are a prestigious Wine Estate in Stellenbosch looking for a motivated and skilledJnr Farm Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on vineyard experience, strong leadership qualities and a goof balance of practical and administrative skills. Reporting to the Farm Manager, you will oversee daily farming operations, ensure compliance with industry standards and contribute to the long-term success of our vineyards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily farming activities. Assist with record keeping, reporting and basic administrative duties. Monitor vineyards, identifying and managing common pests and diseases. Support the implementation of health & safety and regulatory standards. Assist in training and managing young vines. Operate farming equipment and provide mechanical support.
Skills and Qualifications
Strong leadership and organizational abilities. Comprehensive understanding of vineyard practices and operations. Keen eye for vineyard pests and diseases. Experience in young vine training. A valid Code 10 driver's license and digger loader operator's license. Relevant tertiary qualification
