We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
Role: Assistant Environmental Consultant
Industry: Environmental Consulting
Level: Junior to Mid-Level Professional
Key Requirements:
An Honours or higher degree in a relevant environmental discipline; a Master's is preferable.
1 to 5 years' experience in environmental consulting, specifically with Basic Assessments, Environmental Impact Assessments, Environmental Management Plans, and Compliance Auditing projects.
Good working knowledge of South African environmental legislation.
Experience in the renewable, industrial, and/or mining sectors is highly beneficial.
Proven ability to produce professional technical reports in fluent English.
Strong preference for candidates who can read, write, and converse in French, and/or those who have published papers.
Willingness to undertake fieldwork as a significant part of the role.
Ability to travel in Sub-Saharan Africa (outside of South Africa) if required.
