Job Description

Job Purpose




Provincial Treasury, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a competent individual to coordinate and facilicate the implementation of the department Talent Management Strategy in terms of developmental Programmes.

Minimum Requirements




An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B Degree (NQF 6-equivalent or higher qualification) within commerce fields (i.e. Human Resource; Public Management, Business Management); A minimum of 3 years relevant experience; A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence.

Key Performance Areas




Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of the departmental Talent Management Strategy; Operationalise effective Bursary Administration; Manage all developmental Programmes (i.e. Bursary Obligators, Graduate, and PAY Interns); Administer the Memorandum of Agreement of the Essay Writing Competition.

Competencies




Knowledge of Bursary administration, contract management and project management; Project Management, Contract Management and policies governing developmental programmes within the public service.



Skills needed: Report writing; Sound organising and planning; Analytical and Problem-solving skills; Communication (written and verbal); Stakeholder Management; Proven computer literacy and digital skills capabilities.

Remuneration



R 468 459 - R 561 894 per annum (Salary level 9)





Note on remuneration in addition service benefits or obligations for qualifying employees (medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc) are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.

Notes




Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit documentation for verification purposes and criminal record vetting. These candidates will be required to do a practical and attend interviews on a date and time determined by the department and may also be required to undergo competency assessments/proficiency tests. The selection process will be guided by the EE targets of the employing department.
